The size, the weight, the shape, even the design layout; all are the same between these two products. Even so, needless to say, we can see different colors that make identifying each model easier. Electro-Harmonix C9 has a chocolate cover with the C9 name visible on the left part. Meanwhile, Electro-Harmonix B9 has a black cover, also with the B9 name visible on the left part. They both come with rugged construction and the same level of usage easiness. You can control the percussive attack level, modulation speed, organ and dry volume with each model.
The difference is located at the featured preset tones. Though both of them offer nine presets, none of those presets are the same. The B9 is perhaps more classical in the tone style, as the model features classic rock, cathedral, gospel, and continental organs. Decision
Some may say, it is always the best to have both models altogether so that you can widen the tone possibilities. Nonetheless, if you can only get one, then choose the one that suits your style best. Electro-Harmonix B9 is all organs, while Electro-Harmonix C9 is somehow more diverse.
