Decision
The Cubase LE8 and its proper integration with the recorder device are most likely too valuable to be missed if you work with musical recording, in which the DAW software is also providing a huge advantage. The ability to connect with another device, in case the number of inputs available is not enough, is also an always handy opotion. Therefore, Zoom R24 is a great choice. But, if you don’t care about the software, and you work in field recording, then Tascam DP-24 is the best way to go.
