Yamaha DGX650B is a neat digital piano featuring Pure CF Sound Engine, a high-quality sound engine sampled from Yamaha’s luxurious CFIIS concert grand. Its 88 notes are in GHS (Graded Hammer Standard), which means that the notes mimic the configuration of acoustic pianos, with heavier touch in the low-ends and lighter touch in the highs. Also, there is a 320×240 dots monochrome LCD screen that is equipped with score function and lyric function, to help you cope with the music when playing the provided songs. There are more than one hundred songs available built-in, including the songs from popular artists like Elton John, Taylor Swift, and Adele, also some classical pieces. Yamaha DGX650B is armed with two 6W amps, a 1.7 MB internal memory, a USB port that can connect to PC as well as to external storage device, plus one headphone jack.
On the other hand, Yamaha P115B is much smaller and lighter than Yamaha DGX650B. Also, it is cheaper, too. Even so, it comes already with the Pure CF Sound Engine and 88 GHS notes. Yamaha P115B is certainly the choice if you want something with the fullest value-per-money score. Its performance quality is even slightly better than Yamaha DGX650B. The extras in Yamaha DGX650B are not precisely crucial.
