Design
In terms of design, Jasmine S35 and Epiphone DR-100 share quite a lot of similarities. Jasmine S35 offers what it calls as Jasmine Advanced X Bracing, but you can’t see too much of distinction of it from Epiphone DR-100. Both models have the dreadnought body style. Even so, they use different materials for their constructions. Jasmine S35 has a spruce top with agathis back and sides, along with rosewood fingerboard and bridge. However, mahogany is often considered as a more superior material than agathis, capable of producing fuller, richer, and louder sounds. Epiphone DR-100 has a better tonal quality than Jasmine S35 because of the construction. Mahogany typically sounds warm and somehow mellowish. Mahogany is often quite rugged and durable.
Hardware
