In general, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe makes the best way to go. The 40 Watts of power is flexible and versatile, suitable for practice sessions (though you certainly need to tune it down in this case), as well as indoor performances, and especially those not-too-big venues where Fender Blues Jr wouldn’t be strong enough to shine. However, if you seek a guitar amp for training only, then Fender Blues Jr is sufficient.
