Design
In terms of design, Yamaha F325 and Yamaha F335 have a lot in common. Both come with the dreadnought body design. Both are about the same size and weight. Both models are colored in the natural wooden hue with a gloss finish. However, Yamaha F325 is coming with a black pickguard, whereas Yamaha F335 is with a red tortoiseshell pickguard. In addition, Yamaha F325 is packed with chrome tuners, whereas Yamaha F335 is with gold die-cast tuners. As the effect, Yamaha F335 may appear to be more lavish and elegant in comparison to Yamaha F325, but you may have your own taste and preference here.
The two guitars are also constructed from slightly different materials. Yamaha F325 features a laminated Spruce top, Nato back and sides, also Rosewood bridge and fingerboard. Performance
We all know that different woods deliver different tonal and acoustic characteristics, but Yamaha F325 and Yamaha F335 actually don’t differ very much from each other. The woods that they use indeed share some similar qualities; Nato and Meranti are often used as cheaper alternatives to Mahogany. They sound pretty warm and accurate. They are able to project lows, mids, and highs well. As a matter of fact, Yamaha F325 and Yamaha F335 are actually excellent for the prices. In their price range, it is difficult to find a guitar that truly performs, but Yamaha F325 and Yamaha F335 are decent and satisfying enough.

Decision
Yamaha F325 and Yamaha F335 are excellent low-budget guitars. They have similar performance. Yamaha F335 appears more lavish and elegant due to the tortoiseshell pickguard and gold tuners, but, if you prefer Yamaha F325’s modest approach, then you are good to go.
