Design and Features
Both Fishman Loudbox and Fender Acoustasonic are available in several variants with different amplification power levels, but we are going to focus solely on Fishman Loudbox Mini and Fender Acoustasonic 90 in this article because the two are available on equal comparable prices. Each of the two models packs considerable power. Fishman Loudbox Mini is a 60-Watt two-way powered amp, featuring a 6.5” woofer and a 1” tweeter. It is very compact and portable, measuring just 12” x 13.7” x 9.7” and weighing by only 19.7 lbs. You certainly can take it along easily to practices as well as gigs. On the other hand, Fender Acoustasonic 90 is a 90-Watt amp. Fender Acoustasonic 90 is slightly bulkier and heavier than Fishman Loudbox Mini.
Quite interestingly, Fishman Loudbox Mini comes with a dark brown housing, whereas Fender Acoustasonic 90 features a light brown housing. Performance
Now, about the performance. Indeed, Fender Acoustasonic 90 offers considerably more power. It can easily deliver louder volume levels without breaking the audio reproduction. However, Fishman Loudbox Mini is actually more tonally and acoustically accurate. Having two separate drivers for handling bass and treble independently, the amp is capable of projecting lows, mids, and highs more fully and more accurately.

Decision
Choosing between these two models can be difficult because they each have different strengths and advantages. Sound-wise, Fishman Loudbox Mini is better, so it is the more recommended one. However, if your budget is limited and you need more power, you can choose Fender Acoustasonic 90 instead. The built-in effects make a good value, too.
