Design

However, with some more bucks, you can get nice upgrades from Zoom G5. It boasts the ZFX-IV effects processor and the 12AX7 Tube Booster for up to 16dB amp overdrive. It also offers an integrated drum machine, auto-chromatic tuner, and USB audio interface for DAW recording. There are 123 stompbox presets and 22 amp models. The looper function can record up to 60 seconds of phrase, and the memory can store up to 297 tones.

Between these two models, Zoom G5 is obviously the winner. It comes with better design and more features. DigiTech RP500 is a good choice if you need something cheaper, or if you prefer a simpler pedal.
