Design
Bugera V22 is a compact and portable 22-Watt combo tube amp. It features an original heavy-duty 12” Bugera speaker powered by two EL84 valves and three 12AX7 valves. The boutique-style guitar amp comes with a vintage color scheme, with the Bugera brand written in such an artistic way. It features an onboard equalizer, a built-in reverb, and the Amazing Mode switch. The equalizer includes dedicated controls for bass, mid, treble, and presence, and the built-in reverb is great. The Amazing Mode switch will let you change between Triode and Pentode operation to alter your guitar’s sound. On the other hand, Fender Super Champ X2 is a 15-Watt hybrid tube amp powered by two 6V6 and one 12AX7 valves. The speaker is a 10” Fender Special Design. It is relatively more compact and lightweight. Besides having an onboard equalizer, Fender Super Champ X2 also comes with built-in effects and amp models. Performance
Both Bugera V22 and Fender Super Champ X2 are great-sounding guitar amps; they just have different characteristics. Bugera V22 has a distinctive tonal color, typical of EL84 valves.
