The latest version of the series, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III, brings many improvements over its predecessors. It now has front-reading text, so dialing in settings can be much easier than ever before. This 12” speaker promises great power and uncompromising performance.
Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III is armed with three 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 6L6 power tubes, and one solid-state rectifier. With these components, the guitar amp can deliver impressive soaring sound. The 40-Watt output power ensures that this guitar amp can be loud enough in gigs.
This model features two inputs and three selectable channels: normal, drive, and “more drive”. The channel names are quite self-explanatory. In addition, the total output power is also 40 Watts, but this model is armed with a special design Eminence speaker.

Both these two models are great, but they have different characters. If you prefer a bright, soaring amp, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe should be your choice. The “extra drive” channel can be quite interesting. However, if you prefer a warmer guitar sound, Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue is the way to go.
