AWM stereo sampling makes use of pairs of waveforms to create a deep, rich, and spacious sound. There are 10 built-in voices available. Meanwhile, the polyphony performance of Yamaha P45B is decent. With 64-note of maximum polyphony, it is certainly ready for the more advanced, high-level technique plays. Well, there are some models out there that boast even higher numbers of maximum polyphony, but 64-note is sufficient. There are also reverb, dual/layers, duo, metronome, tempo, transpose, and tuning functions.
Yamaha P45B comes with a pair of 6 W speakers. Not so powerful, indeed. However, there is a standard headphone jack that you can utilize for an external speaker as well. There is also a sustain pedal port. And, unlike the sibling, Yamaha P35B, Yamaha P45B comes with a USB-to-host port, allowing you to easily connect the piano to a computer!
